My name is Josie Ratliff. I am a private math tutor for grades 3-12. I am a licensed teacher with multiple certifications in math and the sciences. Having taught math for several years, including during Covid and beyond, I have a unique understanding of students' post-Covid learning gaps. I have developed strategies to help close those gaps, build confidence, and equip students with the tools they need to be successful.
Our Expertise
I work with students in math for grades 3-12. A solid math foundation is crucial to success in later math courses, given that math builds on previously learned concepts. My goal is three-fold: 1) to enable students to firm up their foundational math skills, 2) to help them be successful with their current math course, and 3) to help students develop problem-solving skills to set them up for success in future math courses.
